Have you ever lost a job due to "a lack of communication?" Cheri Dotterer did. Then, her gifted children had trouble. How can a person read above grade level yet not be able to write effectively? As a school-based occupational therapist, Cheri works with kids daily who struggle to learn how to write. What caught her off guard was those who can read and struggle. She has discovered that it is estimated that one-third of the population struggles with writing to some degree.
